KL Tower: We Are Free Campaign

Hi Assalamualaikum! (Waalaikumussalam)

This month, KL Tower are organising a campaign called We Are Free where you can go to their Observation Deck for free! No additional fees needed. For admission, you just have to walk in to book your slot :)

As a 22 y/o Malaysian who have never been to KL Tower, I was actually excited hahaha so me and Hanum decided to go there on last Friday.

How to go to KL Tower by public transport:

-From Pasar Seni bus hub, take ride the Go KL City Bus (Purple Line) and stop at KL Tower (3 stops)

-From there, it is a 5 minute walking to the KL Tower

It is FOC for Observation Deck, but if you want to go a little higher than that (Sky Deck) it will cost you RM36 for an adult with Mykad.

When you have arrived at the entrance, you can choose either to walk from there to the KL Tower or you can just wait for shuttle van provided. Me and Hanum choose the latter of course. No, not because we are lazy but it is raining at that time so, yeah. Hahahahaha

We arrived at around 10AM and its already packed with people. We are not surprised because it is free entrance. What surprises us was when I was queuing, suddenly one of the KL Tower staffs make an announcement saying "...now the slot left for you to do booking is at 6PM and above,"

I was like wow what? At that time its not even 11AM. Laughing, I just left hahahah. Both of us are not that eager to wait for freaking 8 hours just to go to the Observation Deck. From what the staff told us, he said that those who booked their slot at 10.30AM already queued from 7AM.

Already. Queued. At. 7AM.

Wow Malaysians. I'm impressed hahahahah so for you guys who wishes to go, prepare yourself to wake up very early in the morning to queue :') Or I think it would be a good idea to go at around 6.30PM and above because the sunset view will be breathtakingly beautiful I think.

To add on, those who plan to go to KL Tower, do add KL Forest Eco Park in your list as well as it is very near to the KL Tower. From KL Forest Eco Park you can ride the Purple Line bus again to go back to Pasar Seni. 

In conclusion, achievement still locked hahahaha maybe will go and try my luck again next time...maybe. Still got time before July ends idk.
